How about info from truckers Sun, 10/6/13 4:05 PM (permalink)
I just realized that after reading postings over the years,I can't remember seeing any recommendations from truckers.
They must know many excellent roadfood places.
Also how about some imput on truck stops?

There have been some "Trucker Recommended" and Truck stop places recommended scattered throughout the web site from time to time.

And he is as reliable a tipster on finding great Roadfood restaurants as there is one this board!

Many of the truck stop chains have dropped their own restaurant/food prep and brought in either a FF Stand or a Denny's. The Flying J Chain comes to mind. We used to enjoy some very good CFS either with eggs as a breakfast or with Mashed Potato as a dinner... gone now.  A few still run their own 'chow'...Petro Brothers has it's Iron Skillets that are one of the few we will stop at these days.

I used to work for TA - Truck stops of America - back in the day, and they were pretty good then. Haven't been in one in years
