RF doppelgangers? Wed, 12/11/13 11:04 AM (permalink)
I was checking out the FB page of a recently opened bar & grill and came across this photo.  I have no idea who he really is but I did do a double take.

Then again, he seems to be inside an open business.  Had he been the real deal he would've been outside with a "Closed" sign visible in the background.

Holy crap! That is one handsome fellow on the left.

    Alas, it is not me.

(For the record, I have been clean-shaven now for over a week. It may last until the holidays, but wouldn't bet the farm.)

I want to state for the record that it looks nothing like WanderingJew.

Nor does it look like you, bb.  I'm thinking TTM.

I wish I had taken a photo.  Last week in Louisville, I worked with another driver who was a dead ringer for Al Bowen, right down to the goofy hats.  If I see him next month in Canada, I'll get a picture.

Speaking of Mayor Al, I did run into someone almost 5 years ago that could have been dead a ringer for the roadfood forum's elders statesman at a BBQ joint in Raleigh NC
            called BBQ Lodge

                    For the record--
                    1. Dale, that was not me in North Carolina... and your photo did not open on my screen.

                    2. Let it be Known that Poverty Pete bought that "Mayor's Crown" at Lynns Paradise Cafe using funds he 'borrowed' from the membership in attendance that morning. So he contributed to the GOOFY HAT legend. (The vest is mine).

                      Mayor,
I didn't believe that was you for a minute. After all, that guy was getting ready to BARBECUE A BUNNY!
