Hi everyone! HELP! I am wondering if anyone knows of a place that serves the full bellied fried clams and not just the strips? I moved here 10 years ago from Boston and still can't find any and I sure miss them! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much.....

I have consumed a lot of shellfish in SoCal over the years, and have never seen Whole-body Fried Clams offered anywhere. They were a real shock to me when I first arrived in Boston in 1960. What a wonderful food.

Princecaesar, there is a place in Phoenix that serves full bellied clams, but that is a long way for you to travel, but not nearly as far away as the east coast. It is Taylor's Chowder House in north Phoenix, can't remember the address but they are in the phone book. The restaurant is owned/operated by former New Englanders, if I'm not mistaken. That might be a good roadfood vacation for you, in search of the full bellied clam!!!! Donna
