I was disappointed to see that Outback does not serve prime beef. They serve choice.

This place is not a Morton's or such. Lunch of chili and salad is recomended. Flo's filet is the recommended cut.

Longhorn is your average chain but its a hell of a lot better than Outback.

Calling Longhorn as average is right on the mark. Most of the steak places such as Longhorn, LoneStar, etc. are all about the same. The menus tend to read the same, steak, salad, baked potato or baked sweet potato. Average, average, average, blah, blah, blah. Don't take me wrong, I do go to these places, but when as a majority we go, it's always a toss up as to which one to go to, as they are all the same to me.

I've been to three Longhorn steakhouses here in Nj,the ones I visited were in Howell,Rochelle Park & Woodbridge. I know that taste is very subjective and that what I might enjoy someone else may not,but in my humble opinion I prefer Longhorn over the other franchised steakhouses that are out there. Out of the three I visited I thought the Howell location was best, due to the attentive and friendly service.
