what's up? i thought i had heard of just about everything but this one has me truly stumped. i was talking to a guy in georgia and he was eating a pickled apple. theyway he described it was that it was whole, either green or peeled, salty and in vinegar. he said they were common as flies and that you could get them everywhere and that everybody and their mother eats them. what is this?! i posted on chowhound.com but noone knows what i'm talking about. michael: help!
