Anybody got a favorite Buritto recipe with Beef or Chicken they would like to share?I need a change of pace fom the same ole same ole!

Describe what it is you're bored with. Do you take the "kitchen sink" approach, with everything stuffed inside? By smothered do you mean with a sauce, or cheese? Chile Verde made with Chicken is great alternative to the regular pork dish. I've started using shredded red and green cabbage instead of iceberg lettuce too, as it tastes so good on fish tacos. It's crunchy. We've been putting bits of avacado in too. Whole pinto or black beans are a nice change from refried beans.

Like Bill Voss said... What are you bored with? If it's the sauce, I dont have a recipe, but grab a cup of burro meat throw it in a pot... Then mix in some flour with the meat (mix in really well), add pepper, salt, onion powder and cummin... Add some water and cook up the sauce... Edit: If you want a more robust sauce, add some beef base to the mix also (not that salty crap)...
