I found a new candidate for Texas Burger Guy.

If anyone is traveling between Houston and Austin on 290, you just gotta stop at Felder’s Fillin’ Station in Carmine. It is on the west side of town on the north side of the road. I do a lot of traveling back and forth between Houston and Bastrop, and Felder’s has become a must stop.

The burgers are just plain ol’ griddle burgers served on a white bun with all the fixin’s. Maybe it’s the quality of the meat, but it is one of the best burgers I have ever had. Not only are the burgers delicious, they are cheap as well. They get $3 for a cheeseburger and $4 for a double meat cheeseburger.

You cain’t beat that with a stick!
