Eureka! Tamales for Christmas

For years & years my family always had fresh homemade tamales with Christmas dinner. Not our home made, bought given as a gift from Mexican friends. We lost that when we moved from Fresno to WVa 7 Christmases ago. We'll we have befriended some Mexicans here that are new to the neighborhood. They came by Monday night and asked if we would like some tamales for Christmas. Can it be true? Homemade tamales for Christmas dinner once again??? Please Santa, let it be true! MikeS.

I have been on a lifetime search for the nest Tamale, which has affored me many a good meal, and some not so good. Having lived in AZ I am familiar with the Xmas tradition, but sadly I wished they would make them year round. My Favorite mail order are Alamotamales.com, in person there are to many to mention, but any suggestions are always appreciated.
