Pizza question?

Someone posted on a New York City pizza restaurant that was in Manhatten and located in what once a church, I believe. I cannot find this even though I did a search. Does anyone know what place I am talking about? We will be in New York City in January and thought this might be a fun place to take the kids.

You probably are thinking of a feature a few weeks ago on "The Food Channel." This pizza joint was featured on TV not here ...you are a real foodie and have all bases covered, good for you. Here is the info: John's Pizza on 44th St between 7th and 8th Aves. Excellent brick oven pizza - really good crust & cheese. they also have other entrees...salads, pasta, etc. another plus is the building used to be an old church and has still has the cathedral ceiling and stained glass windows & dome. the big space means you never have to wait more than 30 min even in busiest times. , John's is old-school NY pizza
