Fried clams in N.J.?--full bellied

Does anyone know of any restaurants in N.J. or even NYC that serve full'bellied fried clams? My husband can't get enough of them and is only able to indulge at the Cape during the summer. Wondering if there's something closer so he can make it an all year round delight.

garykg6 I marina a sailboat at the Highlands and am definetly on the lookout for good food/seafood in the area. We sail often and Doris and Eds is a great place but a bit pricey. Where is the crab shack and any other recommendations are certainly appreciated. Thanks, Howard
