Venison Burgers

I thawed our some ground venison and would like to make venison burger. Any suggestions?

for one thing---its very lean!!--i add a little suet to mine---and minced onions mixed right in with the meat, and somtimes some fine chopped garlic--but only if it really "gamey". I ususally add cheese to my burgers but find that it doesnt really go well with venison---and i like a good firm roll---or better-frecn or italian bread slice long ways and keep the topping simple--like way simple---more onions---grilled and tabasco spiked ketchup.
