Went to Newsom's Old Mill Store and had one of there famous Country Ham sandwiches. They recommend no spreads and if you go there buy 2 because after you leave and eat the one you wished you could eat the 2nd one.Something about the way the ham is prepared makes it outstanding. Will never miss this place again on my way from Wisconsin to Florida. Also buy a jar of there jam. Birdhunter from Wisconsin

And just what does a Birdhunter from Wisconsin hunt? After all, there aren't any grouse in Wisconsin.

I've bought several hams from there and have never been disappointed. The people are very friendly as well.

I haven't been there, but just up the road in Dawson Springs, I had a country ham sandwich that was excellent.
