I just don't want to be addicted anymore.

Ha! just re-read this post. Boy was I overreaching!
I'm still an addict. Although, today I will end the day at 5 12oz servings, which is lower, but I haven't been good at really dropping my caffeine intake.

so much for 2006's New Year's Resolution.

COKE!! Pepsi has too much of a lemony flavor that makes me think of a freeway rest stop. I prefer to go to restaurants that serve Coke and will try to avoid those that don't.

Make my drink favorites milk, water, Coors Light beer and Diet Pepsi, the last three over ice please.
Haven't stocked the hard stuff around the house the last several years. However, recently I'm getting a hankering for a quality margarita on the rocks. Been thinking I'll pick up a good quality tequila, some limes, Cointreau and salt for the glass rim. I can make simple syrup. Any suggestions? I don't know much about the tequila products available nor the Cointreau.
I appreciate the addition of this "beverage" topic. I read the intention of the topic site was'nt a recipe exchange. I figure I haven't strayed too far off topic since much discussion has occured about trains.

Dean, No Big deal about the recipes. You can ask again up on the cocktail thread if you like? I am pleased at how well folks seem to get along here (compared to some other topics). I guess imbiber's, with or without alcohol seem to be mellower than most folks. Thanks to all for giving this new forum the chance to prove itself.

BTW , I found RC in the 2 litre bottle today at a local Piggy Wiggly. God it's hard to find RC around these parts.

If you can't find RC, you can always buy a can of Pepsi and leave it open for a day.

                  Flat Pepsi = RC

Fountain Coke!!! Coke syrup, carbonated water & ice. Remember the chrome/silver holders with paper cones.

I live in Indianapolis & also spend time in southern Indiana. I would love for womeone to let me know where I can find a fountain Coke!!

I was watching a rerun of All in the Family last week, and it was the episode where the meathead was all upset over not having a Royal Crown Cola.
