round eskimo pies Fri, 03/18/05 9:21 AM (permalink)
I graduated from MaineEndwell Sr. High, in Endwell, N.Y. In that part of the state (Broome County, near Binghamton, Endicott, Johnson City) we could purchase "Eskimo Pies". They were round vanilla ice cream treats with a hole in the middle, and then coated in chocolate (A hard cover). They were wrapped in foil and kept frozen until eaten.

These treats were delicious! I have been trying to find them online but have had no help. I am also trying to find a vendor in Binghamton that may remember these, or know where to find them.

Let me know. I have all the time in the world to find them. (In the candy forum we recently located the equivalent to the Merrimint) so now we need another project!

Thanks for your help and input. Email me anytime with comments or suggestions. Denice
