Broadway Grill and Deli Thu, 04/21/05 10:06 AM (permalink)
I should have known better! Any place calling itself both grill and deli can't be much of either..While out with a friend we stopped at his bank, it being lunch time and this place nearby in the small strip mall we decided what the heck...There was a large dining room with few patrons (warning) the deli cases where dark and sparsely stocked (warning) He had the days special of lamb and beef gyro, I went with a cheeseburger...(mistake)a small hockey puck of overcooked meat piled high with shredded lettuce and barely rip tomatoes on an unassuming bun... I sent it back and ordered a rueben, 5 maybe 6 slices of meat, one slice of cheese barely melted and smothered in bottled dressing... I stole part of his gyro... not to bad although the yogurt sauce was rather plain...at least the french fries where hot and crisp..
