Help me in my search! Mon, 05/30/05 1:17 PM (permalink)
Several years ago, I stopped at a convenience store in Eastern Washington. On a whim, I tried a roller-grill item that was a ham and scrambled egg "hot dog". Hence the use of the roller grill. It was pretty good.

Lately, I've been trying to find the maker, or even the concept, on the internet. No luck. This morning I stumbled on this site.

Hope someone recognizes a ham and scrambled egg roller-grill product. You could actually see the scrambled egg as a distinct part of the food.

Thanks,

Graeme

Perhaps. It makes me think of what kind of "filler" they used to keep same all together. Kinda' like Arby's "Roast Beef", etc...

We used to have those at our local 7-Eleven. I think the local distributor for them is Abrahams, but you may want to see who supplies your local store and ask them about it. Another try would be Sysco, seems like they have just about everything...

I just checked Sysco's site and couldn't find anything like you described, Graeme. Here's Sysco's supplier litt, though; you might find something there.

(Killer name, incidentally. Welsh or other Celtic, perhaps?)

Thanks folks. My dad was named Bob so he wanted me to have a less frequently used name. The told me I was named after an obscure Scottish poet.

Pitts, thanks for the look down south. I guess I'll just have to go on a C-store road trip.
