Just returned from Islamorada and can't say enough about the food. Must visit places for breakfast: Hungry Tarpon, had the "Everglades" which was a slice ham between two huge well done pancakes with two eggs on top. Next was Mangrove Mike's for fresh banana bread French Toast and Cinnamon roll French Toast. The place was full by 6:15 am with good timing locals. Last stop was Islamorada Bakery for Bob's Bunz and/or vanilla cinnamon buns. These were very tasty and they also open at 6 every day. I'm already planning my next trip back there.

    Hey sammur,
Mangrove Mike's is one of my stops, three four times a year, it's the best. Did you ever see service that fast? How about all the different flatware & plates, what an operation, we love it. Good Luck - Chef Joe!
