MD/VA eastern shore breakfast spot?

we're going to be doing an early morning drive fro DC through the eastern shore of Maryland and into Virginia, almost as far as the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel but not quite that far. We're hoping to stop for breakfast when we're about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way there. Any thoughts? Thanks!
