Isn't there a BBQ place on or off of Rt. 301 as you head south from D.C./Waldorf towards the Potomac River and King George, VA.

You're thinking of Johnny Boy Ribs. It's on the left side of 301 as you head south to the Bridge. I'm pretty sure it is just south of LaPlata. Just before you get to it, you'll pass a Twin Kiss on the right. Homemade old fashioned Root Beer.
