Your Favorite Mexican in San Diego

I have been here for almost a year now, and don't have a good sense on what the best Mexican joints are. Does anyone have recommendations? I have heard that El Zarape in Univ. Heights is good, but I haven't made it over there yet. Any info is much appreciated!
