Mothers of New Orleans-FERDIE Sammich

Has anyone tried the Mothers Restaurant in New Orleans, world famous trademark sandwich, The Ferdie? I made a special detour while traveling from Florida to Colorado just to get one to go!.. The threat of Katrina, and the possible demise of this long time New Orleans landmark makes me sad! Oh for some debris from them!  God Speed New Orleans!
