Maine/Mass Lobster season

Does anybody know when lobster season ends in Maine and Mass?
I'm heading there for Columbus day weekend and was wondering if I can still get fresh lobster in season?

I'm thinking the Maine season runs from June 1 to Oct 31, but I'm sure someone can come up with the actual dates.

You can get lobster here year around. Local rules close down some areas at some times, but others open up. You will be able to get lobster on Columbus Day weekend. BTW, that weekend is the traditional close date for a lot of seasonable places.
