I have been looking for a sandwich that I had years ago. Unfortunately I'm not longer in contact with the person that bought it for me. It was a HUGE sandwich. It had potatoes, gravy, & turkey on a huge roll that was cut like a pita. I think you could also get it in Roast Beef as well. I think the place had a name like Uncle Charlie's or something like that & it was down by Elizabeth or Linden. Not really sure of the details as you can see but damn I loved that sandwich. Does anyone know what I'm talking about??

According to the online yellow pages, there is a restaurant: Uncle Charlie's Hot Line 2005 East Linden Avenue Linden, NJ 07036 Ph. 908-925-3335 You might try calling them to see if they make such a sandwich.

I had heard of this place but no one seems to have any info on it. Has anyone been here before?
