Does anybody out there remember Fudge Town Cookies. They were clover shaped cookies with a hole in the center. I remember there was a cartoon cowboy on the box. WOW. I used to love those.

I sure do, Memphis! They were made by Burry's and there's a good thread in this forum discussing Fudge Town and other Burry cookies if you'd like to reminisce some more:

Archway just came out with a double fudge cookie, not the same as Fudgetown but not bad.

If your grocery store carries Dare brand cookies from Canada, their fudge sandwich cookies are a good approximation of what I remember Fudgetowns being like. The shape is not exactly the same but similar; they even have the hole in the center, but just on one side. Dare makes other good sandwich cookies too, like maple, lemon and coconut.

yes I have also had the cookies from Dare and they are very good, similar to fudgetown. I buy them every so often in A&P

Fudge Town Cookies are reincarnated as "Mother's Double Fudge". They taste exactly the same. You can get them by ordering it in the grocery section of Amazon.
