The Carnivore in Nairobi
Went again last month and the quality has really gone down. Now just basically caters to group tours. Zebra was way too horsey (over-cooked.) Kudu was still pretty good, but they screwed up the eland. How can you do that? It's the easiest meat to cook. When it first opened, it was a quirky game restaurant with a mix of locals and tourists, now it's all tourists. I had really good eland at a little shack on the Karen Rd near the race course, but can't remember the name.
