It's nice to sit outside ...La La La!

So, my 3rd morning in my new "southern" home, and all I can say is:

I love sitting outside in the early morning when letting the dog out.
No bundling up, no putting on the heavy snow boots; just throw on a robe and sit while the little doodlebug does his thing. Benji is loving it also. No snow stuck in his paws, no sliding on the ice!
We havent been able to do that since October!
Oh yeaaaaaaaaah!
::sigh::
Oh, yeah, I made the right choice.
So, I am pretty much settled in here in SC, the drive south was the best I had on I-95.
Maine is nice in the summer-period. I am not dissing Maine at all, so don't get me wrong there. Just this southern gal needed to be back in her element.
Tank tops, shorts, and sandals!
And some good BBQ-Now all I have to do is find some!

Sunny and 40 here yesterday, snow today in beautiful Chicagoland, enjoy sitting out while you can tara!

My advice: Lay in a good supply of bug spray and get the air conditioner serviced while you still have time. Come May, you'll thank me.

Coming from Forida via Maine, Believe me, I am enjoying this.. Soon the skeeters will be here, and I have a stream running behind my place and lots of trees. The perfect hangout for those little bloodsucking devil's.
Already bought bug spray.. ha ha...
And the a/c is only a year and half old...Actually the place is the same age......
I looked in the mirror and screamed this morning...
I forgot how white my legs and arms were, I hadn't seen them in 6 months.....
Oooh, for a girl that lived in Florida for 46 years, this is not good...I skeered myself!
