I would like for everyone to know who are fans of Jane and Michael, that one of the restaurants that they so lovingly covered in So. LA
(and MY home area!), Middendorf's in Manchac, LA is back up and running and better than ever!! Prominently displayed on the wall is a magazine article from Gourmet Mag. that Jane and Michael wrote with a picture of the waitress! One of the days we were there for lunch (we went TWICE), she was our waitress! These employees have been there FOREVER!! DON'T MISS the Thin Fried Catfish!! Absolutely,the best thing in the world!! PS I now live in CT for the last 25 years!! To me and my husband, THIS is going HOME!! Tornado
