Who Killed Weiner King?

I remember back in the 70's in Charlotte, NC there was a Weiner King place on Graham Street. It was a franchise place that had great foot longs and fries. It, of course closed. Has anyone ever heard of the francise?
Just trying to remember my earlier years.
