    What a great subject!
    Lets see.....
My dog when I come home and open the door, and he is smiling at me and his tail is just waggling away because he is SO happy to see me!!! (or is it because he has to pee so bad?)--Nah.. because he loves his Auntie Tara!
When my day at work goes right and I make excellent tips without having to deal with a**----*!
When I wake up before the alarm goes off, and the sun is shining and I feel great and cannot wait to start another day. (especially if it is a day off)---
Just the feeling that I love my new hometown and job!
And best of all, when I look at the photos on the fridge of my late mom and dad and remember how much I love them, and how much I miss them, and how much they loved me..
    Thats what makes me happy!

      1. When we have had a long set in rain like we did last night (Thank God the Well is no Longer Dry!) 6/1-6/2 it was a slow drenching downpour. Makes me SMILE all over! All my veggies and flowers are "Beaming" this morning! I will have the most luscious foods to consume/can/freeze and give to neighbors/friends/and family!

My small pond is now full again, so if drought comes back I can carry.

      2. Its friday, which doesn't mean a lot to me cos animals and garden don't understand a day off, but my man can enjoy himself and he is here with me!

      3. Me mom just got back from a cruise to Alaska. She is about to turn 69 and has been more places in her golden years than ever in her life. That makes me very happy.

      4. Sunny-D7 emails me instead of kicking my ass off.

      5. I am an American.

Waking up! Get that out of the way and I'm covered. It's up to the rest of the world to try and mess it up. Oh, and that first cup of coffee, newspaper and a smoke(shut up already). It turns on the juice so to speak, so really, it's the same thing. To be honest, it's hard to stay happy all day. What with all the wingnuts and doorknobs you meet and have to talk to through out a day. For me it's usually the little stuff. Good smells that churn up good memories, kids doing kid stuff. Like looking around to see if their getting away with something and lettin' 'em. Old guy's telling old stories and fishing because they go together. Now why would some fool want to come along and spoil any of that? I just have to insist that they don't. After all I might not wake up tommorow. Or God forbid I find I've run out of coffee and cigerettes! Could'nt happen, I don't let those people in my house.
