I find it an odd story.
I don't know what I would if this happened to me.

    Hello All,
I've heard of women having breast removed for the same reason.
It is a perplexing option that may become a normal procedure in the future.
While I don't fear death, I fear dying because I am weak and afraid.
It is also my opinion that God is not only a spiritual being, but the
Great Scientist, and we are just on a path of learning of what He/She
hopes we learn. Our hardest task is to do no or as little harm as we
can as we unfold the knowledge that waits for us to discover. We have
been given many gifts, and one is to adapt in order to survive. I hope
these stomachless people can enjoy life. I really wouldn't want to
survive for survival's sake. When I can't enjoy the romance of this life,
I am so ready to go on.
    Take Care,
    Fieldthistle

      What to do....

      Rip out the stomach.
      Adjust. ..
Eat much smaller portions and chew my food really well.
      Eat much more often.
No big deal. Stomachs are like pancreases. . . nice to have, but not essential.

Please tell me there was a group/family rate! Thanksgiving dinner at the 'ol homestead now would consist of just one Hungryman TV dinner I expect. "Oh no really, I couldn't eat one more cranberry" takes on a whole new meaning. As crazy as that sounds to me, I have to admire the drive and desire to live and enjoy as best they can .

Well, I guess it would solve my beer-gut problem.
