Soot Bull Jeep at 3136 8th street is the classic. There are some more authentic little ones my Korean friend always tells me about but I forgot the names and now I'm embarassed to ask again!
On 6th street 1 1/2 blocks west of Vermont, check out Manila Good Ha! for great Filipino food, and there is a good Pho place about one more block west of that (both on the South side of the street).
