Basted in what? My father-in-law likes to baste his in bacon fat. (His eggs are usually "swimming" in it).

I like my eggs poached or fried in a non-stick pan, on toast for breakfast. Even better still, whith grilled bacon!.

I like them almost any way you can think of- except hard boiled- those need to be made into deviled eggs- but not for breakfast. And when I was young and foolish- pickled eggs and pigs feet were gourmet, especially after 1:00AM!

Hey, does anyone know of a place in Southern CT to get a Scotch egg? These have always sounded interesting to me, but I don't know where to get them/don't want to be bothered making them(the process seems rather lenghty). Thanks in advance, Steve
