Pretzel Sandwiches

Looking at the Snacks section here, thread of Favorite Prtezels, I was thinking about a sandwich that is vey popular in Gewmany, especially at snack bars. They take a large soft pretzel (a bit more delicious than in US and with a slighty different shape - the bottom part is thinner, sort of like a handle), slice it in half like a roll or bread, and put in filling. Usually a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, sliced eggs, meat or cheese. Mustard or mayonnaise also. Handy and good.
Has anyone sighted these in the US of A?
