I dont think so...it has a totally different consistency than butter if you are thinking of using p.b.instead.

Yes it is. Feel free to use peanut butter in all recipes that call for butter.

They make it at Publix, my grandchildren prefer the shelf stuff. They also prefer Hunts canned tomato sauce to my homemade sauce. John
