Thanks Field for the kind words! I am only a student of the art and history of chili making. There is always something new to learn, and so many ways to make a good pot of chili. Joe

There are lots of web sites about chili but anouther one I think is real good is at; www.chilicookoff.com First time I read where he "i" in chili came from. A sign painter mispelled chile on a downtown Dallas chili parlor sign back in the 1914s or so. Folks liked it so it stuck, might be true? Do the "site map" at the bottom of the home page and there is allot of neat stuff. Joe

The mispelling chili might have been at a chili parlor in springfield Il. Thers more than one story about that. Joe
