Brother Kane's peanuts Fri, 11/3/06 12:55 PM (permalink)
For awhile Brother Kane's peanuts were stocked in the vending machine at my workplace; I found them to be quite good. Nothing against the Planters that replaced them, but I liked the Kane's better. I'm guessing that some of the Southeast members are familiar with them.

Those look really good and look as though the have some SALT on them. Shame on me, but that's what I don't like about packaged peanuts these days, lack of. Lance brand used to have a good bit of salt in them. I'd look at the bottom of the bag for it, buy em' shake em' up(sometimes put them in my pepsi, in the good ol' days when there were glass bottles!)rip off the top of the bag and eat straight from it. What has become popular down here are the deep fried peanuts, in the shell. Those are excellent.
