Thanksgiving Sweet Potatoes Fri, 11/3/06 9:21 PM (permalink)
So how do you make yours?, I would love to know. This recipe has been in my family for over 40 years. Thank you.

Mine:

Sweet Potato with Pineapple (you really have to like pineapple):

6 large sweet potatoes boiled, peeled.
1/2 to 1 can crushed pineapple in HEAVY syrup don't drain.
1 stick butter
a tablespoon or two of heavy cream if you have it
1/2 cup brown sugar
pinch cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, pepper

Mash all up, place in casserole and bake for 1/2 hour 350 or till hot and bubbly.
