Maruca's - Easton, Pa. Sat, 11/18/06 5:26 PM (permalink)
There was a thread on another forum about places to eat in Easton, Pa. I wasn't sure if I should add to that or start a new thread, but since this is about Pizza, I'm putting it here.

I get thru that area every couple of months, most recently yesterday. Picked up 2 pizzas (sausage and regular) at the Easton branch of Maruca's. The famous Seaside Heights NJ pizzeria has opened a few franchises, and just might be my favorite NJ Pizza.

Had two slices in the parking lot, and brought the rest back home to the family in NJ. Unanimous verdict, while the pizza resembles the original, it's just not quite there. The crust was not as crispy, the cheese not quite as good. It was good, but not great pizza.
