Best Burger Dallas to Houston

I was driving home from Corsicana where we had gone on our annual pilgrimage to pick up a fruitcake from the Colin Street Baker, but that's for another thread.

On the way home we stopped at our usual eating place on I45 Sams Original Restaurant for a hamburger. They never disappoint.

A mini loaf of homemade bread cut horizontally, a handmade 1/3 to 1/2 lb patty and all the fixins, the wife got hers on a regular bun. We got a large order of orings to split, a coke and a water, $14.30 w/o tip.

If anyone ever makes the trip between Houston and Dallas on I45 try to plan an eating stop here breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are in a hurry the buffet is always good.
