If you have one night in Cleveland and it happens to fall on a Friday or Saturday, then I strongly recommend Sokolowski's university inn www.sokolowskis.com Forget advice for barbeque, pizza, seafood, burgers, all of which you can get better in other parts of the country. This is the place. A comfortable casual restaurant in the old world tradition. Service is cafeteria style. Their pierogis are considered the best in Cleveland. They also have excellent lake perch and a nice salad bar. They are also open for lunch during the week. DONT MISS OUT!!

Anyplace that claims to have the best pierogies can't be all that bad. I'd love to check this place out my next visit to Cleveland, a city I truly love. carl reitz

The best corned beef or pastrami I ever had was in Cleveland. Cleveland Rocks!
