I love them. I eat them with smoked salmon dip, and also with that Old English cheese in a jar. But they taste great, just by themselves.

I love them. I usually just eat them plain because they have a unique flavor. I don't get them all the time though. If I keep eating them the flavor becomes "regular". I like to eat a box and then wait awhile before I get another box, so when I get another box the flavor is "special" all over again.

The first three are really good. Then the next 497 are disgusting.

Wow! Don't think I've had a Chicken in a Biscuit since 1968. Probably had it with a Diet-Rite Cola (the good kind, with cyclamate). One of those products that I only see in small-town "general" type stores, usually in rural areas, where they sometimes have a couple dusty boxes from, say, 1968. I actually have looked at supermarkets, both in NYC and the Boston area, and haven't seen them. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Chicken in a Biscuit are OK, but so strongly flavored that I can only eat one or two at a time. I much prefer their "cousin" Sociables. I believe I remember that these came out at about the same time in the 60's.

They're delicious. The strong flavor should keep me from eating too many but it doesn't. To me, they put the crack in crackers.

When I was a youngun' of five or so, my cousin Leontine had a country store on the corner of my grandparents' farm property in Mountain, West Virginia. (A place once named Mole Hill but that's a WHOLE 'nuther story.) Leontine's store introduced me to the earthly delights of pickle barrel pickles, locally made beef jerky, Drumstick Ice cream bars, Jolly Rancher candies, Mister Bee Potato Chips, Pork Rinds and my most favorite of all...Chicken in a Biskit. I had quite a scam goin' too. Several of the elderly men of the community would sit out front of Leontine's every day on rockers and wooden chairs, every last one of them with suspenders, baggy pleated pants, checkered shirts and well worn fedoras. Their gossip sessions were much more salacious than the local hen parties; "Jack, Walter, hellsfar, did you see that new huzzy that lives up on Lizzie's Roost come in heah the other day? That outfit she had on was tighter than wood in a vise" and such, and the language was much more peppery than the genteel ladyfolk's. They all chewed mail pouch, the sponsor of most of West Virginia's barn painting in those days, and spit in an honest to God brass spitoon. Always desirous of being the recipient of all those goody treasures and also being intelligent enough to know I was never gonna con my Mom out of enough money to feed my ever burgeoning addiction, I needed to come up with cash at will. I could of asked my Aunt Pete next door, but I just knew a biblical admonition with come with any donation to my cause. My brother Larry would just of swatted my butt with a wet rag and told me to get lost. What to do, what to do. I walked over to the store porch one day and started to go in and gaze and look pathetic and forlorn in front of Leontine. Jack said "Hey Janeen..that's a pretty poky dot dress, you look cute as a button" and a few of the other men grunted. It was then the age old secret was bestowed on me, like a blessing of wise women and angels on me......If I wanted something good...USE FEMININE WILES! So I twirled for the fellers and sat down on the porch stoop at their feet. I recollect that the first foray into the scam involved me askin' what kind of bait was best for catchin' bluegill in the Hughes River. (It ran smack dab through Buh and Nana's property) From then on....they were butter in my hands. I measured spitting distances, sang childish ditties and did every thing but tap dance for 'em. I listened to all their huntin' and fishin' fables, commiserated with 'em over their arthritis and cried at their stories of both World Wars. I'd spend the mornings and afternoons with them, and I would be plied with Mountain Dews and Chicken in a Biskits and such until my belly bloated. This went on for several summers until eventually there were no old men left to watch spit chaw and Leontine developed cancer and closed the store. The way I figure it, the old denizens conned me, more than I conned them. I ended up learning more stuff that would aid me in life than I would ever in school and off the tv and had a much better time with them, than I ever did Barbie dolls and the like. Chikin' in a Biskit still remains my favorite.

the barbeque version they had out for a short time were absolutely ADDICTING....nabisco seems to have something against barbeque flavored things, because their barbeque version of those Ritz Chips were killers too, but yet they D'Q'd them..
