Hello All,
As a child I loved peanuts only, until I ate some (in a shell at a baseball game)
that had worms in them. I was so ill that I didn't eat peanuts for years unless
it was in or on a candy bar...gotta love those Paydays.
I like any nut involved with chocolate, except WALNUTS. I hate walnuts, yet I have
over 12 walnuts trees which the squirrels love, which makes me love those squirrels and
causes me think that people that love walnuts must be a bit squirrely

. Of course,
I've never ate an English Walnut, and never intend to since I support the Irish cause, which
is another matter.
Pecans are another flavour I will get ill over.
Almonds became an early love thanks to Hershey's with Almond bars.
The years have given me a love for cashews, chestnuts and hazelnuts.
Lately, we made a liqeur out hazelnuts from our hazelnut trees. It is tasty.
I will partake of the donut as well.
There was a nut I once love, my first wife, but she gave me heart disease.
My second wife, another nut, the Debra-nut, cured my heart disease and I enjoy her daily.
And oh yes, pine-nuts are wonderful, especially in a crustard-like desert that my wife
makes, but I can't recall the name of it. It's Italian.
I hope you all will consider me your Nutty-Buddy...in honour of a good candy.
Take Care,
Fieldthistle
