Culver's Going Trans-Fat Free Wed, 01/17/07 12:23 PM (permalink)
From Wed. 1-17-07 CIN-Weekly Magazine {associated with Cincinnati Enquirer:

Soon you'll be able to enjoy a butter burger and a side of fries with less guilt. Culver's restaurants recently announced that they're going trans-fat-free.

The deadline for all Culver's restaurants to change to 100 percent canola cooking oil is March 1. The switch will gradually take place through the winter months to eliminate trans fats, which raise "bad" cholesterol levels.

This is especially good news for fans of the Wisconsin-based chain's side items: onion rings, thick crinkle-cut french fries and cheese curds (white and yellow cheddar, breaded and fried to ooey-gooey perfection).

Culver's has two area locations: 5742 Tylersville Road, Mason, and 3111 Princeton Road, Fairfield Twp. Visit
