Lay's Potato Chips

Has anyone else tried Lay's since they switched over to 100% sunflower oil? The package says "Same Great Taste," but I think they actually taste better now.

Bet you can't eat just one now! I have not tried them yet, may have to go and snag a bag.

I did try them. They do taste better. I had the plain and the salt and vinegar.

Yes, I've tried them and ate the whole bag (I certainly couldn't eat just one).

Before the switch, sometimes you'd open a bag and the smell was awful - raunchy as we used to say when we were kids. This was likely due to the oil as potatoes are potatoes. Now, much improved. Smell better, taste better.

I have always liked everything Lay's made. I particularly enjoy the Ruffles fried in their oil that is low fat or something like that. Anyway you don't get much calories from them. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

I bought a bag of Lays the other day and notice they tasted very fresh. When I was closing the bag I noticed they were now cooked in sunflower oil...they were the best Lays...I thought I just happen to get a bag that was recently made.I say Bravo to Lays

I thought they seemed "stickier" .. to the teeth after eating a few (and yes I know it is said potato chips are worse for teeth than candy because chips stick to teeth more)

The cheddar and sour cream ones that I tried were good. I think they have improved.
