Doug- I couldn't agree with you more. Especially since that was my ham biscuit in the photo. That was the only time I have been to Pope's Cafe, but that breakfast was a real winner!

It is torture looking at that ham biscuit from here in Connecticut, where neither ham nor biscuits are! Thanks, buffetbuster, for the morning jump-start to my salivary glands.

I'm glad I can buy the Clifford Farm country ham slices here. I foresee this as breakast tomorrow! I always fry a few extra slices to snack on throughtouyt the day too. I could careless about sodium content.  I say that now anyway.
