but when I was a little girl in the early 80s, my uncle (my dad's youngest brother who was so cool with all his nieces and nephews) would make a snack that my brother and I would share with him that will sound so weird to you guys. But, I hope you get to try it at least once.
anyway, we used to eat vanilla ice cream in a cup or bowl with Cheetos mixed in there. When i used to work at a small burger place when I got older I used to eat the Cheetos with our soft serve ice cream and it was even better! I've never asked my uncle where he got the idea but it is the best snack for me that kills all kinds of cravings!

I like pretzels with ice cream, which is probably a similar sweet/salty thing. And I like cheese popcorn mixed with caramel. Sweet and salty is soooo appealing to me!

I don't mix mine in, but I definitely love the ice cream/Cheetos combination. I eat ice cream with a side of Cheetos every chance I get. I do, however, mix in pretzels when I eat peanut butter cup ice cream.

well, I guess it would be the same as those people that dip their Wendy's french fries into their chocolate smoothie. And thanks shortchef, I seriously thought only my little world ate this stuff.

I don't think it's a bit odd, but I'm the guy whose favorite snack is a 50/50 mixture of Froot Loops and Goldfish crackers, so there you go.

I like to dump a handful of mini M&M's into a just popped bowl of popcorn. Especially yummy when you hit a candy shell with melted chocolate inside. Sweet and salty is GooooooOoooood!

I remember the first couple of days that I was in Rio de Janeiro..and I was suprised to have avocadoes served as a fruit, that could be consumed as dessert, with sugar added. The avocadoes there were different than the Haas ones from California...much more of a water content...actually, they tasted pretty good with sugar.

funny you mentioned that Tacchino, I was thinking the other day about the time my cousin who goes to UT Austin told me that her Vietnamese friends eat avacado with sugar and they can't get over the fact that we eat eat avacados with salt and onions and tomato mixed in.
