I just csme back from City Bakery on W. 18th St./5th Ave in NYC (home of the fabulous $5 Hot Chocolate with homemade marshmallow). They had a catering menu avaialble - there are lots of offices in the area, esp. advertising, design, fashion, etc. area and lots of catered breakfast meetings.
I rememeber breakfast meetings were like Dunkin' Donuts and Cawfee. But this menu offers:
Fruit Platter: Mango, papaya, fresh pineapple, lychees and cherries
Organic Vanilla Yugurt with Granola
Breakfast Sanswihces: Baby BLT on Brioche, Smoked Salmon & Avocado, Gruyere Cheese & Parsey Butter, etc.
Prices? Breakfast buffet: $25/person,bagels,salmon & cream cheese $12/p/p, and so on.
If you were to design an "upscale/trendy" business breakfast menu, what would you add?
