Salina's Cozy Inn

After revisiting the 85 year old Cozy Inn in Salina, Kansas last week, I've added a new page about the restuarant to my Kansas travel website: http://www.kansastravel.org/cozyinn.htm For those that have never been to the Cozy Inn: they fix nothing but one ounce burgers with grilled onions. Cooked on the original grill. Keith

Sfreader- Good idea adding the Cozy Inn. I was only there once and that was in 1999. I had sack of six burgers, a root beer and a piece of peach pie....all for under $5.00. Even though I got there right at noon, I was still able to snag one of those precious six seats and was able to really soak up the wonderful atmosphere.

buffetbuster, I bet you smelled like fried onions for the rest of the day:-) Although I have been there several times while seats were available, I've always taken a bag to go. Keith

My wife, who has been eating at the Cozy for over fifty years, introduced me to the Cozy Inn about thirty years ago. We don't get there often, because we live a thousand miles to the east - but it is always a treat when we can stop.

My mom is a Salina native, and everytime we visit out there at LEAST two stops at Cozy is mandatory...best semi-unknown burgers in the country...
