I remember eating some years ago at a joint called the Home Plate in Portland, Maine. Good breakfast place full of fisherman. I was headed off sailing. I remember it as having a good breakfast and the surroundings were terrific. It was just a diner in a hole in the wall. I'm not sure it even had tables, just counter service. Wondering if it is still in business and how its doing.
