Part 3 Nashville (brunch, etc) w/pics !

Hi again from Ellen

About a dozen of us enjoyed a Sunday brunch at Ellendales (named after me, of course!)


...located only a few miles or so from Nashville airport.


my brunch plate... short ribs were tough tasting to me, but I liked my caesar salad with the nice big croutons, and my mimosas. Best part for me was the company...
I passed on their made-to-order omelettes, to hold off for burgers, etc later in the day... omelettes just don't get me excited enough

there's the good ol' "taking a picture of someone taking a picture shot" (almost)... with Rick F's wife Jan on the left

on right hand side is Steve Koe, Janet (wife of the one and only Al the Mayor), and Jan, from Natchitoghes, LA (Rick's wife)

Sunday night 4 of us went back to the Loveless, as Steve Koe had'nt experienced their fried chicken,& we did not want to deny him

wonderful hashbrown casserole.

Hmmm,Ellen/Dales??? and Dale is Wandering Jew. Some sort of cryptic message here??

Ellen nice shot of the brunch plate. I found the short ribs pretty good, but I like 'em a bit chewy!!

Ellen, those are great pictures. It's such fun to see real people.

Hey, what is that triangular golden thing on your plate? And is that butter you have slathered all over it. If so, I like your style and I want to be your new best friend.

wow, you've got a point.... perhaps it means that me and Dale are supposed to be taking the place over and making a small fortune

This is embarrassing , but I can't remember what that butter slathered object was exactly. Must not have been too memorable to me.
(one of those things I just take a bite or two of, and leave the rest.

one would be hard pressed to find more real people than the ones I met from "Roadfood!" I met some x-tra special new friends in Nashville..

Sorry we missed the brunch!! About the time you were dining, we were hiking up a hill on the Natchez Trace to see a waterfall. Burning a few of the many calories we consumed on Saturday. But they were luscious calories!!!

Great shots, Ellen. Watch for the honorable Mayor's posting of more pics. Tracking indicates he received my CD today. You might see yourself.

p.s. good for you with that hiking ! (we were all still stuffing our faces!) (but I did get some jogs in over the weekend in Nashville, enjoying the delightful weather we had!)
